“Ram is a foundational pillar of our 5:30AM class. For the last several years, Ram has braved dark, early, and sometimes frigid mornings to become the best version of himself. Ram’s wit and personality make him a welcome face, bearded or not, to all that stumble in the doors still in a slumber. Prior to the workout Ram can be found listening to his favorite Indian “Hype” music, or multi-tasking on a work call. Ram has already scouted the workout and is ready to go… as soon as he finishes stretching. We truly would have an empty space in our morning class without Ram. – Coach Erick

Q&A with Ram
What inspired you to try CrossFit? How long have you been doing it?
Long story –
Moved to Arizona for a new job and was looking at workouts to do at the apartment gym. Came across, you tube videos making fun of CrossFit (I still watch them, it’s funny). At the same time a co worker was doing CrossFit and his box was doing a first month Groupon deal.
After the first week I felt (I still feel) the community/workout style was similar to my football (read soccer) training sessions, so kept doing it on and off from September 2016.
