FCCF Athlete: Amanda D.

“As one of the coaches who regularly coaches Harry, Amanda’s husband, I was excited to start coaching Amanda when she joined. It was fun to see them feed off each other’s energy and quip back and forth before class and during workout prep. From onset, Amanda has approached learning movements and refining her technique with a cerebral approach, and this is an approach that I appreciate. She takes great care in implementing coaching queues and I can see her trying to keep these adjustments in check in the middle of workouts.

In addition to her attention to detail with learning and improving her technique, she has committed to putting in consistent time and effort to allow for this. Since she started, she has increased her consistency and has never wavered, always coming to the gym on her routine, regardless of what skill is in the workout that day. This consistency has paid off, resulting in her overall capacity as an athlete increasing, month over month.” – Coach James
